Cheshire Location is Moving

We are excited to announce that beginning in Fall 2018, Musical Folk will begin holding classes at the Small World Languages school in Cheshire. The school is located at The United Methodist Church, 205 Academy Road (Rt. 68), Cheshire, CT in the former Happy Place Preschool in the Education Wing of the church.

Welcome to Musical Folk!

Fun. Fabulous. Uplifting. Magical.  These are just a few of the ways parents describe taking Music Together® classes.

Babies, toddlers, preschoolers, big kids, and the grownups who love them gather each week to make music as a community.

We believe that all children are musical and in a constistent rich music environment, their natural aptitude will blossom. In fact, when children are given a supportive music environment, they will learn to sing and dance as naturally as they learn to walk and talk.

Music Learning Supports All Learning®

Wiggling, singing, and laughing with your child is so much fun—it’s easy to forget how much learning is taking place in our Music Together classes! Our research-based curriculum not only develops music skills, it nurtures creativity, self-expression, and confidence while also supporting social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Because these benefits build over time, children enjoy the fullest growth in each of these areas when they participate as consistently as possible up through kindergarten.

We were visited by WTNH in June 2018 to celebrate Make Music Day!
